We have begun clearing the land for planitn our second crop...we look forward to the rains and to seeing our second harvest, which will be a blessing to the community and to an orphanage nearby. We hope to be able to harvest enough this year to also sell some of our harvest and raise money towards the purchase of the land!
As we begin to work on the land more we have gone back to the city hall to look into the different government permissions that we need. As the governemnet has all benn changed sine we began, some of their requirements have also changed and we need wisdom, discernment and wise counsel as we move forward, to know what is needed, what is the cost and what is just an officer looking for pocket money (bribes).
Please pray with us as we move forward in developing the land! ALSO, as we develop, we are working in fatiht that this land IS ours and that God will provide all that we need to buy i., We are so thankful for the document that we have which is a promise of sale and purchase which says that the fruit of the land is ours and that we can begin developing the land, with the knowledge that if we default everything that we put into the land will also default to the land owner.
If you would like to help us with purcahsing the land or in fundraising for the land, please contact us, or see the ways that you can support us on the side bar of this page!

Team Opportunity
We are raising funds to begin construction of our First Family House this year! We do not have the exact dates yet, but are thinking the end of September. In the future we will probably be working with a prefab-building material for all of our houses, but for our first house we will be using Block, rebar and cement (we will rent a cement mixer to make things easy for you).
We have our house plans already and will have manual labourers as well as one brick-layer and a contractor here. But we would love to have some expert bricklayers to work with us, making sure that the construction keeps a high quality while being completed quickly.
Our home is open for a team of 12 people, and we are inviting a few expert bricklayers that we know and giving them (and you!) the option of organizing 1-5 team members to come with them and help with the construction.
Food and accommodation are by donation, and your transport within El Salvador and Tourism will be provided by The Father’s Heart Foundation. Otherwise, we ask that you provide your airfare and donate your time and expertise to the construction of our First Family Home.
We are working right now with our first family parents and as soon as the house is built we will move in with them to complete our training course and prepare for the first set of orphaned and abandoned children; which we hope to receive around this time next year.
If you could pray and save and prepare to come and serve for 10-20 days here in El Salvador, we would be so happy to have you here!
Please let us know what you think and if you have any questions! And please check out our Group on FaceBook and here on our blog for regularly updated information. You can also look up El Salvador on the Lonely Planet website ~ they have listed us as one of the top ten destinations for 2010!
Please contact us soon and let us know what you think, or if you know of anyone else who might be interested!

Community Evangelism November 2009
We (the directors) left El Salvador on November 8th for Kent, Ohio. The day before our travels, we had an evangelistic event in the community where the Children’s Center will be. We were able to share with community about who we are, as a foundation, and were also able to share a gospel message, pray for about 20 people who came forward, lead one young man to Christ and encourage and bless the other about 120 guests who came to enjoy our skits, songs, piñatas and preaching. Although there were heavy rains the entire time, we still had a good turn out and were blessed to use someone’s shelter as it was too windy even for tarps on the land. When we return in January and begin more intensive evangelism and discipleship, we will need to build a temporary shelter for holding meetings and classes on the land.
Trip To Kent, Ohio
In Kent we had two key ministry meetings, both of which were blessed. We met with Kent State University to present The Father’s Heart Foundation and to discuss the possibility of setting up an ongoing Internship program with University Students coming to work with us in El Salvador, which we are now actively working towards and looking forward to in the near future. Our other meeting was with a business there who would like to provide what we need to have a working well which will provide water to the Children’s Center as well as to the surrounding community. Other than those two meetings we worked with Pastor Paul Myers and with Joshua Myers on getting a ministry video edited, which will be available soon. Samuel also recorded his testimony, which can be viewed on You Tube.
God used Samuel to bring His word to The Father’s House family Church in Ohio as well, and to lead a reconciliation service and encourage the elders as they face some challenges there.
Florida
From Ohio we flew to Tampa, Florida where we spent 2 weeks, making new contacts and sharing in Pathways Community Church.
We were able to do a baby Bottle drive there and will be collecting about 100 baby bottles filled with coins, bills and cheques on the first Sunday of January. The church there said that they will continue the baby bottle drive and make it an ongoing fundraiser for the Father’s Heart Foundation.
God connected us with a pastor and businessman in Tampa who has a for-profit business with the purpose of providing for the kingdom of God. He had a meeting scheduled with his Board on a Monday morning to discus how they could become involved in building orphanages and on Sunday morning, the morning before the scheduled meeting, he was visiting pathways Community church where he heard us share ~ we answered the question of where to start and so, O.T.H.E.R.S Inc. Will be using the profits of the construction site that they are working on right now, to purchase one acre of land and then plan to work towards donating the rest of the funds needed to purchase 50% of the land before our deadline of February 2011! They will also help us with other donations through their network of businesses, with a goal of getting us a generator and beginning construction this year! AND, they would like to open a manufacturing plant in El Salvador for the earthquake/hurricane/flood-proof building material that they use in Florida and are making plans to help us establish a plant that we would then run as a source of income for the Children’s Centers in the future.
World Outreach Ministries
Our trip to the USA also connected us with a missions service organization which has accepted us as Affiliates and will be a home office for us in the USA, doing for us in the USA what Bible Fellowship missionary Society does for us in Canada. (They will receive all of the financial gifts given in the USA, issue tax receipts, send out news and prayer requests) and get the funds to us promptly.
This is how you can support us in USA:
1. Make Cheques to World Outreach and designate for Samuel & Charity, Fund Code #66.
2. Send your Tax Deductible Gifts to:
World Outreach Ministries
P.O. Box B
Marietta, GA 30061 USA.
(Designate for Samuel & Charity #66)
Canada
We then travelled to Canada until the 12th of January and had a few meetings and one fundraiser planned. We were able to share with the congregation at Bible Fellowship Foursquare Church in Surrey and give them a ministry update, which went really well. The Fundraiser Dinner on Vancouver Island went very well and we were able to share with about 85 people what God is doing in El Salvador and how they can help, and we sold about 10 lbs of One Bean coffee as well! Thank you to everyone who came out to show your support!
We are praising God for the amazing meetings that he arranged for us in the USA and Canada and for leading us and providing for us on a daily basis!
We also praise God for providing a ticket back to El Salvador and for our renewed residencies here.
While we did make amazing connections and have promises of future support, we do not have enough personal support for living in El Salvador; please pray for us for provision and give as you feel lead.
PLANS FOR 2010
With your continued generosity and faithfulness we trust God to accomplish beyond what we have planned or imagined in 2010.

Our First Family Parents
Today we went to Santa Ana to meet with our First Family Parents and their children. We will be meeting with them once a week for the rest of the year, as we prapare to establish our first family!
We will take turns between meeting at our home one morning and the next week going to the church in Santa Ana to meet them in the afternoon. Our children can play together as we study God's word and go through some training material together.
Our ultimate Goal is to know and to understand how to model the Father-heart of God, to strengthen our marriages and to form strong, godly families in preperation to adding orphaned and abandoned children into the Children's Center (Lord willing by this time next year we will have our first few children!).
As we grow and learn together, we will also be working on the land and our second crop of corn, beans, peanuts and other vegetables. And will continue to make more contacts, get more supporters and work towards the construction of our first family home. We hope to build in September and to be able to move both of our families into the home before receiving our first est of babies/toddlers.
Please pray with us and support us where you feel lead, as we train our first family!
